Day 3 of my Journey Through Ephesians!

S.O.A.P.

Scripture

7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Observation

Here's that word grace again. And wow, the "riches" of His grace. I wish I had just a penny worth of God's grace! I like the ESV bible, its says that grace is "lavished upon us in all insight and wisdom" "Lavished: Characterized by or produced with extravagance and profusion" Yup I really do NEED that much grace.... probably more! He definitely is insightful and wise!

Application

To always be seeking God's will because it is His pleasure for me to know it!

Prayer

Lord, show me your will for my life today.

v.10 ....he might gather together in one all things in Christ,both which are in heaven,and which are on earth;even in him:
I'm curious how you interpret that verse. Who is he gathering together? Who does 'in him' refer to?

All those who are saved will be going to heaven. That's what I see.

Not just going to heaven, but 'gathered TOGETHER.' All saved are part of his bride and will be gathered together as such.
